While terrain dictates tactics, the true value of any ARC Raiders map lies in the areas and rooms that yield loot, among which Key Rooms are paramount.
Here, the term Key signifies not only the importance of these rooms but also the fact that they require a specific corresponding key to be unlocked and looted.
With the launch of Riven Tides map in late April, the addition of several new POIs has introduced even more Key Rooms for you to explore, each holding the potential to yield new ARC Raiders blueprints.
To help you maximize the rewards gained from these rooms, IGGM has compiled a guide based on the most efficient exploration routes. If you’re interested, read on!
Riven Tides Key Room overview
It has been confirmed that the map currently features at least 10 Key Rooms. Seven of these are located within the main POI, Hotel Panorama Azzurro, specifically, they correspond to individual hotel guest rooms.
The remaining three are scattered across Port Authority Building and Stacking Yard, and these tend to be slightly more challenging to unlock.
The reason for this distinction lies in a unique mechanic associated with the seven hotel rooms: if you loot them sequentially, you can often find the key to unlock the next hotel Key Room directly within the one you are currently looting!
Farming Hotel Key Rooms
Before you set out to find these rooms, it is crucial to understand that throughout this entire process, you will constantly be exposed to hostile ARC enemies and potentially hostile players.
Furthermore, while the hotel’s confined layout makes encounters with large-scale enemies unlikely, it also makes you more susceptible to ambushes.
Therefore, it is crucial to equip yourself with a reliable weapon before embarking on your exploration, especially epic-tier firearms like the Tempest and Hullcracker, which can effortlessly eliminate the vast majority of smaller ARC units with a single shot, thereby providing a robust safeguard for your survival. If you currently lack such powerful weaponry, we recommend visiting IGGM to buy ARC Raiders blueprints, thereby eliminating any vulnerabilities in your combat capabilities.
Additionally, do not forget to keep Safe Pockets and Hatch Keys in your inventory. These items ensure that your valuable loot remains secure from other players and allow you to extract from the map whenever the need arises.
Once you are fully prepared, set out on your mission! As for which room to enter first, that depends entirely on which room’s Keycard you managed to acquire during your raid.
Inside your initial room, you should discover the key required to unlock another random room, along with other valuable loot. From there, simply continue your exploration by following the room numbers indicated on any additional Keycards you find.
Regardless of which floor you start on, you can navigate between levels using the stairwells or ziplines, and then simply locate the corresponding room based on its assigned number. The hotel complex contains several key rooms, specifically rooms 102, 107, 113, 205, 208, 311, and 404.
Rooms 311 and 404 are particularly noteworthy. You may have trouble locating Room 311 if you simply take the main stairwell; the most efficient approach is as follows:
- Travel to the eastern side of the hotel complex.
- Locate the uniquely shaped tall tower and open the door situated at its base.
- Follow the hidden staircase inside the door up to the third floor to find Room 311.
As for Room 404, its unique feature is that its keycard cannot be obtained by simply opening other rooms; you must dedicate extra effort to looting during raids to acquire it.
Farming Port Authority Building Key Rooms
The two hidden key rooms within this POI require specific keycards, Classified Records Keycard and Secure Storage Keycard, to open, and they must be accessed in a specific sequence.
Classified Records Keycard drops randomly; you must rely on looting high-value areas and containers to acquire it. Once obtained, you can enter Port Authority Building and unlock the corresponding room.
Inside this room, you will find Secure Storage Keycard hidden away. The room corresponding to this keycard is located deep within Classified Records Keyroom and can be unlocked immediately.
Farming Stacking Yard Key Room
This area contains only one room that requires Crane House Keycard to open. The drop for this keycard is also random.
The room corresponding to Crane House Keycard is located on the top floor of the central building within Stacking Yard area; both the zipline and the ladder serve as viable methods for ascending.
Comparatively, using the zipline is faster but generates significantly more noise, which may attract enemies. The ladder is slower but offers a safer approach.
It is also worth noting that Stacking Yard features an exclusive puzzle consisting of two distinct stages; solving it will unlock two additional loot rooms for you!
The first puzzle requires you to cooperate with other players to locate and press four hidden buttons scattered throughout the area. The second puzzle requires you to submit batteries and wires to repair an elevator.

How valuable is the loot?
All in all, you can expect to find almost every type of loot within these Keyrooms, whether it be ARC Raiders blueprints or basic materials for crafting, or even other finished gear.
